Eligibility Maintenance/Internet Administration
FAS has developed proprietary internet-based software, FASTnet, which tracks data relevant to each employee's benefits program. Our clients’ in-house plan administrator/human resources manager would also have the ability to make changes to existing employee records and add new hires, all via the internet.
Using FASTnet, which is accessible 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (24/7) via the FAS website, an employee can view or print their online personalized benefit statement and can also make changes to their personal information. Information booklets as well as claim and registration forms are also available online.
For those employees without internet access, plan details and information can be obtained by calling our toll-free bilingual call centre. The call centre is complemented by an Interactive Voice Response system which provides eligibility and plan information on a 24/7 basis in addition to offering a fax back feature for forms.
Traditional print media (booklets, forms, wallet cards) are also available.
Extended Health and Dental Claim Adjudication
FAS offers extended health, prescription drug and dental claim adjudication for both fully insured and self-insured plans.
Prescription drug and dental claims are submitted and adjudicated online, real-time.
Health Spending Account administration and claim adjudication and payment is also available.
Employees or service providers can elect to receive claim payments by cheque or by electronic deposit directly to their bank account accompanied by an e-statement.

Disability Adjudication
FAS has extensive experience in the adjudication of disability claims. For employers who self-insure their disability program,
outsourcing the adjudication to a third party such as FAS can ensure claim decisions are made on an arm’s length basis.
Our disability adjudicators are skilled professionals with the experience and expertise to make claim decisions consistently and accurately.
Defined Benefit Pension Administration
Our pension administration services include eligibility database maintenance, annual communication of benefit entitlement to employees and pension application processing and payment. Payment options include either cheque or EFT.
